About the Resort
Located between Borneo, the Philippines and Indonesia, Seaventures Dive Resort is situated on an abandoned oil rig, which has now converted in the world's first scuba diving hotel. Hotel Seaventures Dive Resort is a privileged place for diving due to its location near Mabul island which has one of the world's richest marine flora and fauna.
Located near Mabul Island only 20 minutes from Sipadan island by speedboat, Seaventures Resort is the perfect place for non-stop diving. Seaventures Dive Resort offers 25 well-furnished fully air-conditioned rooms and 2 suites. The restaurant is located on the huge open deck platform and offers delicious food and beverages - buffet style (included in the package).
Amenities include the restaurant, a BBQ, movie room, a bar and lounge, karaoke, pool tables, table tennis, a souvenir shop and a conference room. There is broadband Wifi access and a camera room for your underwater housing
Nearby Mabul island is a stress-free environment where the friendly local villagers. A place where you can relax on the beach and recharge your batteries.

About the Diving
The Seaventures House Reef is famous for it's sunken wrecks, cage swim throughs and bungalow artificial reefs. the dive site is ideal for night dives where you will find the weird and wonderful creatures sleeping in the wrecks or hiding in the reefs and many are out for an evening of hunting and feeding.
The reef is also home to many sea fans and the dive team are often out on missions to search the fans for pygmy seahorses and other critter delights.
Unlimited diving is permitted under the rig - following your PADI Dive Planning procedures of course. Night dives are also allowed. All diving is buddy diving under the rig but if you are short of a buddy there are always people on the rig looking to buddy up !
TOUR PROGRAM
· Pick up from Tawau hotel or airport. Transfer to Semporna town for dive check-in/registration at Seaventures’ Sales Office Semporna
· Meet up at Semporna office. From Semporna Jetty, you will proceed to the Rig. Boat journey takes approximately 45 minutes, depending on the weather and sea conditions.
OR
· Check in to your room followed by dive briefing by the Dive Centre crew.
· Rig orientation dive underneath the Rig.

No Diving Provided for Arrival After 1630 Hrs
For safety reasons, ALL divers have to dive with a dive computer. Sharing is not allowed
3 boat dives between Mabul or Kapalai or Sipadan ** + unlimited house reef diving with buddy underneath the Rig
Important Note:
· Diving in Sipadan is subject to permit availability and approval from Sabah Parks Management. However, if permit to Sipadan Island is not available and/or approved, please take note that the package remains in force for 3 boat dives and to be conducted between MabulorKapalai or nearby island.
· For safety reasons, ALL divers have to dive with a dive computer. Sharing is not allowed
· Maximum of 2 boat dives for guests without flight on departure day
· Check out at 1330hrs to Semporna otherwise advise
Important Note:
· No diving for guests flying on their check out day. Boat dives are non transferable and only permitted as scheduled by Seaventures management for each diver. Please organize flights accordingly.

SINGLE TRAVELLER SURCHARGE
- Boat & Land transfers are based on a minimum of two resort guest passengers. If there is olny one resort guest on the scheduled transfer, there will be a single supplement surcharge except where n0ted in the table above.
- Single travellers are required to pay additional MYR 100 for scheduled land transfer & MYR 325 for scheduled boat transfer (EXCLUSIVE of 6% GST).
SIPADAN PERMIT
- Daily entry permit to dive or visit Sipadan Island will be subject to approval by the Sabah Parks Department, which controls the issuing of the entry permits.
- A minimum stay of 3 consecutive nights in non-dormitory room diving package is required to be eligible for one (1) day guaranteed Sipadan permit.
- Priorities of Sipadan Permits are given to Divers. Non Divers are subject to permit availability
- A fee is levied by the Sabah Parks Department of Diving Fee: MYR 350.00 per diver (Non Malaysian) MYR250.00 per diver (Malaysian) & Conservation/Entrance Fee: MYR100.00 per person (Non Malaysian) / MYR50.00 Per Person (Malaysian) for all guests entering
- Sipadan and is valid for ONE (1) day only. This levy charge is to be paid separately as it is
- NOT included in any of our packages unless clearly stated.
- In any event the trip has to be cancelled; the permit paid is NOT refundable or transferable to later date. The management will not be responsible for such losses rendered to the guests.
- Seaventures will strive to keep all guests on the same reservation together on all dives to Sipadan, however in the event of large groups or situations beyond our control, guests on the same reservation may be split.
- Please note that we will forward your names for Sipadan permits as many times as possible. Please inform us if you do not want to be put forward for more than your guaranteed allocation of permits at least 24 hours in advance otherwise you would be charged for the permit acquired.
ADDITIONAL REMARKS
- Any children who are certified divers must pay full diver’s rate
- NON DIVING Children ages of 5 to 11 years are entitled to a 50% discount of the NONDIVERS PACKAGE providing they share a room with their parents/guardian. Otherwise full rate will be charged
- All children below the age of 10 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. Seaventures will not provide any babysitting services nor will be responsible. No Children below the age of 12 years allowed in the Games Room.
- NO SOLO diving allowed at any time
- If you are qualified for night diving, you can do house reef only night diving with a buddy and is subject to sea/weather condition. There are no additional charges for night diving, except for the torch should you have none of your own and will need to rent one. No night diving after 7:00pm and there will be no night boat dives.

Important Note: Due to the restricted Sipadan entry permit quota set by Sabah Parks, guests are required upon booking to submit full name with nationality, gender, passport numbers and contact address for us to proceed with the permit application. Failure to submit information may result in guest(s) being denied entry to Sipadan Island. Once Sipadan permit assigned, it cannot be transferred to another diver or date. If a diver/customer is unable to go to Sipadan on the assigned day, there will be no replacement
** Start from 01 October 2022 & onwards, Sipadan only allow each diver do have maximum 2 dives a day & minimum require AOW diver or equivalent to dive at Sipadan

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- The itinerary is for reference only and is subject to any necessary changes in accordance with local requirements.
- Pickup service will be provided from the hotel/hostel/lodge that you are staying. Please wait at lobby while the tour guide will find you when he/she arrive. Dropoff service will be provided after travelling, please notify us upon booking if your drop off location is different from pickup location.
- No compulsory tips (If you are happy and satisfied with the journey and the tour guide service, it's always a nice way to express your appreciation with tipping, OR words of thanks is good enough).
- Your safety is our top priority. Should the weather or sea conditions render it unsafe to proceed for this tour, Majestic Leisure & Tours Sdn Bhd reserves the right to change or cancel tour.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
- Over 14 days (From date of departure) charge 30% of Tour fare.
- 7 days (From date of departure) charge 50% of tour fare.
- Less than 7 days (From date of departure) charge full tour fare.
- No refund for those tours which involve accommodation.

- Before tour commences, please ensured that your physical condition is suitable for participating in the said itinerary. You should evaluate your own health condition by telling the truth to travel agency to prevent any unforeseen circumstances. Please respect the local cultures, religions forbidden, obeying local ordinance laws and regulations, etc.; you may refer to our (Tourism Safety Manual) for further information and popularize the travel safety knowledge, abide the tourism civilization convention, and make the journey smooth.
- For your own personal and property safety, please avoid exposing valuables and large amounts of cash in public areas.
- The tours you joined may include high-risk items (such as swimming, snorkeling, rafting, climbing, diving, skiing, etc.), please travel according to your own conditions and fully refer to relevant announcements and suggestions from relevant local departments, weather forecast advise and other professional institutions before participating to ensure your own safety.
- It is recommended that you purchase the travel accident insurance and other insurance by yourself, short-term travel accident insurance and emergency rescue insurance that can protect your life, body, assets or related interests and so on during the trip.
- Please do read and understanding the terms and conditions stated in the tour agreements you signed (Confirmation of Itinerary) with the travel agency.
- After your tour booking is confirmed and successful, an email or messages notification will send to you together with the tour confirmation, payment in full settlement shall be make within the payment time limit specified in the itinerary confirmation letter. Failure to pay the full amount beyond the payment time limit, your tour booking will be deemed invalid and automatically cancelled.
