SEPILOK ORANG UTAN REHABILITATION CENTRE
drive approximately forty mins to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. After registration, follow a guided boardwalk that will lead you to the Feeding Platform, a chance for you to explore the lowland rainforest trees. Witness the feeding of orang utans, watch the scheduled video programme about the Orang Utan (25mins) at the Nature Education Centre, pay a visit to the Exhibition Hall.
The Kinabatangan River is the second longest river in Malaysia, with a length of 560 kilometers. Kinabatangan is known for its remarkable wildlife and fascinating habitats. This wonderful journey of wildlife discovery starts from the waters of Sulu Sea cruising through a magnificent scenery of the mangrove forest. You will be cruising down the river in search of primates especially the endemic proboscis monkeys, birds and other wildlife.
FIREFLIES AND MANGROVES CRUISE
Go through down river with boat cruise and enjoy the Magnificent scenery of the Virgin Mangrove forest, wetland and Rainforest habitats. There you can see The Endemic Proboscis Monkeys that settle down on treetops along the river, birds and other wildlife. 1.5-2.00 hours ride. The cruise end at the Local Villages, follow by a Village walk to see the lifestyle of the local people. Dry fish, dry shrimps, snacks made from flour, shrimps or fish is the main product at the island and most of the local people are Brunei and main job is fisherman. Drop by to meet the Chief of the Village and have a welcome drink with some local bites takes about 20 minutes.
SEPILOK ORANG UTAN REHABILITATION CENTRE + RAINFOREST DISCOVERY CENTRE + LABUK BAY PROBOSCIS MONKEY SANCTUARY
The Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary was set up to rehabilitate orphaned and/or injured baby orangutans, aiming to have them returned back into the wild. Here, you will have the opportunity to watch the orangutans up close in their natural habitat.
SUKAU + GOAMANTONG CAVE
Meet & Greet at hotel lobby ( Sandakan City Area ) then transfer to Sukau passing small towns, which give an opportunity to see the Goamantong Cave The Biggest Cave In Sabah and It's Hosted Of A Million Of Bats And A Swiftlets Birds before reaches to Sukau. Gomantong cave also known as a Bird Nest Cave which is the nest from the swiftlets bird harvested and served as famous Edible Bird Nest Soup for the Chinese Community.
BORNEAN SUN BEAR + SEPILOK ORANG UTAN + LABUK BAY PROBOSCIS MONKEYS
Pick up from Sandakan Town Hotel. It takes 45 minutes drive to Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre which is the 1st Sun Bear Conservation Centre in the world. The Sun Bear also known as 'honey bear' is the smallest bear in the world.
