Labuan the Pearl of Borneo, is a Federal Territory of Malaysia. It comprise of one large and six smaller islands (Pulau Daat , Pulau Burung , Pulau Kuraman, Pulau Papan , Pulau Rusukan Besar , Pulau Rusukan Kecil ) in East Malaysia.

Labuan is an Island with an estimated population of 100,000 people. It's quite a close community where everyone knows everyone. The main town is known as Labuan Town (Bandar Labuan in Malay)but was formerly known as Victoria during the colonial era. Labuan Town is among the cleanest towns in Malaysia. You will observe the Labuan Corporation (local authority) workers diligently doing their job.

Labuan was proclaimed a Federal Territory on 16/04/1984 and declared an International Offshore Financial Centre on 1/10/1990. A few of the major businesses that are run on the island include international offshore banking, steel mills, a methanol plant, floor tiles production, flour mills as well as offshore supplies. Because of these major businesses, Labuan has many non-Labuan natives that work here.

Attractions in Labuan:

WAR WORLD II MEMORIALS PARK, 3,908 graves of soldiers who either died in battle or captivity lie here. Most of the soldiers were Australians and British with some from the Punjab Signal Corp, New Zealand as well as a few locals.

LABUAN MUSEUM, displays the history and culture of Labuan. Its history covers pre-historic era of Labuan, Brunei Sultanate, British colonial days, World War II, Independence, declaration of Labuan as federal Territory up to the establishment of Labuan Corporation.

MUSUEM SQUARE, where one can still see a few old houses of colonial design. Four old Flame of the Forest still stand in this area, casting a shade over park benches and commemorative stones. The trees were planted by the Chinese, Malay , Indians and European Communities in 1953 to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth ll.

LABUAN SEA SPORT COMPLEX. Center for major sea sports activities and a venue for carnival, you will visiting the MARINE MUSEUM which is preserve the marine life, the beach and the towers there.

LABUAN KAMPUNG AIR. The residents are mainly Brunei Malay. The wooden houses are built on stilts over water and are connected to each other by numerous wooden walkways. Almost every house has its own boat.

THE CHIMNEY is the next place, 106 feet high structure is Labuan's most well-known landmark. It was built in the 1800's and we will passing by Batu Manikar Beach and Pancur Hitam Beach.

JAPANESE SURRENDER POINT. Where is the 37th Japanese southern Army surrendered to the 9th division Australian imperial forces on 9th September 1945.

NINE KINGS TEMPLE. A chinese temple in Labuan, a colourful and interesting place of worship. It is a brilliant and colorful temple, one can also descend down the steps into hell room, a room to depict hell in Chinese mythology.

TOUR PROGRAM

Meet at hotel lobby then transfer to Labuan Marina for a 40 minutes speedboat ride to Rusukan Island, which located in southwestern of Labuan Island (snorkelling equipment included ). Along the way enjoy the beautiful scenery in Brunei Bay. Upon arrival at Rusukan Island, free guided snorkelling activity will be carried out, to watch the large area of beautiful coral, and also fishes and lobsters. Rusukan Island is located in Labuan Marine Park, which is a protected area by local government. The island is still in very nature state due to the limitation of development. Tourist will be fascinated by crystal clear waters, the cool sea breeze , white sandy beaches, lush woods, colorful corals, fishes and unique landscapes. Late evening return back to hotel.

  • Over 14 days (From date of departure) charge 30% of Tour fare.
  • 7 days (From date of departure) charge 50% of tour fare.
  • Less than 7 days (From date of departure) charge full tour fare.
  • No refund for those tours which involve accommodation.

After your tour booking is confirmed and successful, an email or messages notification will send to you together with the tour confirmation, payment in full settlement shall be make within the payment time limit specified in the itinerary confirmation letter. Failure to pay the full amount beyond the payment time limit, your tour booking will be deemed invalid and automatically cancelled.
