4D3N Siem Reap - Angkor - Kulen National Park



DAY 1 : Arrival - Siem Reap - Half Day Tour (L/D)

Upon arrival Siem Reap airport, meet & greet. You will be transfer to your selected hotel. (Hotel check in time 2pm.) After lunch visit the handicraft center Artisan D’ Angkor. A short stop at Wat Thmei it has a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge. Next is the War Memorial Monument, it is dedicated to those who sacrificed their lives in the civil war. Visit the small shrine containing two standing Buddhas of the names Preah Ang Chek and Preah Ang Chorm. They are surrounded by stories of power and indestructibility. Dinner at local restaurant, after dinner we will stop at Night Market & Pub Street, enjoy shopping till you drop, transfer to hotel on own arrangement. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 2 : Siem Reap - Full Day Temple Tour (B/L/D)

Today we explore a full day temple heritage tours visit The South Gate of Angkor Thom including Bayon Temple, The Royal Enclosure Phimeanakas, Bapoun Temple, The Elephant Terrace and The Terrace of The Leper King. Continue to Small Circuit including Thommanan, Chaosay Tevoda, Ta Keo and the fabulous Ta Prohm. Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon, we continue to explore Banteay Srei located 35Km from Siem reap, also known as the pink sandstone temple or the citadel of women is one of the highlights of Angkor. From there we visit Angkor Wat the “7th Wonders’ of the World” including Sunset viewing on top of the temple. Back to town, Buffet dinner with Khmer traditional show at local restaurant and overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 3 : Siem Reap - Full Day Kulen National Park, 1000 Lingas River (B/L/D)

After breakfast at the hotel, excursion to Phnom Kulen or the "Lychee Mountain" now is declared as a National Park. It is an isolated mountain massif located in Svay Leu District approximately 48km from Siem Reap. Its highest point is 487 meters. The site includes a pagoda with a Reclining Buddha, it is known for its carvings representing fertility and its waters hold special significance to the people of Cambodia. Just a few inches under the surface of the water, over 1000 carvings of Lingas are etched into the sandstone riverbed. The waters are regarded as holy, given the sacred carvings which also include a stone representation of the Hindu god Vishnu lying on his serpent Ananta, with his wife Lakshmi at his feet. A lotus flower protrudes from Vishnu’s navel bearing the god Brahma. The river then ends with a beautiful waterfall. Picnic lunch on the mountain. Back to town, enjoy duty free shopping international brand products at the T Gallery by DFS, we continue for shopping at local market till dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 4 : Departure (B)

Breakfast at hotel, free at leisure, then transfer to airport for flight home.
